Supervised Work Services/Pre-Vocational Training – Benefiting Participants and Local Businesses
At Sycamore Services, we provide opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to gain vocational skills and independence. At the same time, we help our local business community grow.
Open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., our supervised Work Center in Danville allows individuals with varying abilities to learn skills while they earn an income. Participants can attend the Work Center five days per week, or create a schedule that meets their individual needs. Services are provided in structured settings, including our Work Center, as well as local businesses, churches and schools. Contracts from different vendors provide work for persons with varying degrees of ability and can include tasks such as:
- Packing/Packaging/Shrink Wrapping
- Binding and Labeling
- Mail Preparation (including folding, stuffing and labeling)
- Document Shredding and more!

For decades, our Supervised Work Center has provided solutions to businesses who are looking to reduce recruitment, training and overtime costs on certain projects. Our Work Center provides businesses with a valuable, dependable labor pool that is always there when you need us. Printing and Finishing Services
Sycamore Printing & Business Solutions jobs are sometimes completed at the Danville Work Center. After printing is completed, supervised Work Center crews can provide:
- Stuffing and Labeling Envelopes
- Binding and Fastening
- Affixing postage for mailings and delivery to the Post Office
Mobile Cleaning Crews

Pre-Vocational Training for Individuals
Referrals for Pre-Vocational training at our Work Center can be made by individuals served, family members, case managers, or funding sources by calling (317) 745-4715 or (866) 573-0817. Payment for most services is available through Medicaid Waivers. Persons approved for Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH), Family Support Waiver (FSW), or Traumatic Brain INjury Waivers may request that services be added to their waiver budget.
