Forty-one years ago this summer, a new college graduate named Kim McKay started her first job at Opportunity Cottage in Danville. Little did she know that that job would become a lifelong career at an organization that would eventually be named Sycamore Services.

Sycamore Services is pleased to congratulate Kim on her outstanding career and longevity with our organization! Kim has impacted countless lives in central Indiana with her dedication and ongoing support.

Forty-one years is a long time and many of the individuals that Kim serves have reaped the benefits of lifelong association with her and the continuity of care she has provided. Kim has always had a passion for helping others and still works tirelessly in her role as a Behavior Consultant to help individuals improve their life by improving behaviors. Kim is actively involved with Awesome Westside Advocates, a self-advocacy group for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She also founded the Walking Club on the Danville campus and, over the years, has helped that club raise thousands of dollars for various charities.

Throughout her career, Kim has served in several roles at Sycamore Services and has always made an impact. In these challenging times, it’s good to reflect on the positive things happening at Sycamore Services and getting to celebrate an employee who has changed lives for 41 years is most definitely something to be proud of. Thank you for your service, Kim, and for making a difference in the lives of so many individuals we serve!
