Sycamore Services, Inc. management has been actively monitoring the rapidly evolving Coronavirus
(COVID‐19) situation. Ensuring the health and safety of the individuals served, staff and families is
of the utmost importance to us. As this virus continues to spread, we are being forced to make
some difficult decisions.

Since there is currently no vaccine to prevent COVID‐19, and the best way to prevent illness is to
avoid being exposed, we have been implementing a social distancing policy, but given the nature
of the services we provide, this has proved to be especially challenging in our Day Services

Based on the revised recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
to avoid gatherings of 10 or more people, we have decided that we will temporarily close our Day
Services programs and Work Center, effective Tuesday, March 17. These programs will be closed
for a minimum of two weeks, at which time we will reassess the situation.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly, but given that several of our participants, and some
staff members, meet the criteria for being at high risk for complications from the COVID‐19 virus,
we truly believe that it is in the best interest of all concerned to keep our participants and staff
members safe and healthy.

This is a rapidly evolving situation, and the Sycamore Services leadership team is being briefed on
a continuous basis by the Indiana Department of Health, County Health Departments, Family and
Social Services Administration and many other government agencies to ensure that we are doing
all we can for both our individuals served, our employees, and families.
