Behavior Management
At Sycamore Services, our Behavior Support Services are designed to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving success in their community, school, or work environments. We aim to help participants reach their full potential by addressing and replacing behaviors that limit their opportunities with positive actions that enhance their success.
Our Services Include:

Thorough Behavior Assessment: Conducting a comprehensive analysis to identify and understand problem behaviors.

Behavior Support Plan (BSP) Development: Creating tailored plans that address target behaviors and suggest positive replacement behaviors.

Direct Work with Consumers: Implementing BSP goals through hands-on support.

Training for Staff and Caregivers: Educating those who work with our consumers to ensure effective implementation of BSP goals.

Direct Observations: Monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to BSP goals.

Data Tracking Systems: Collecting and analyzing data on target and replacement behaviors.

Psychiatric Coordination: Providing information to psychiatrists and attending appointments (when applicable) to evaluate medication effectiveness.

Team Participation: Engaging in meetings and contributing as part of the consumer’s support team.

Quarterly Behavior Reports: Creating detailed reports on progress towards BSP goals.

Ongoing Support and Updates: Continuously supporting the consumer, staff, and family, with annual updates to the Functional Analysis and BSP as needed.
Service Availability and Referrals
Behavior Support Services are available under the Developmental Disabilities Waiver. The frequency and location of services are tailored to meet individual needs. Referrals can be made by individuals, family members, case managers, or funding sources by calling (317) 745-4715 or (866) 573-0817.
Payment for most services is available through Medicaid Waivers such as the Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH), Family Support Waiver (FSW), or Traumatic Brain Injury Waivers.
