Work Center

Supervised Work Services

At Sycamore’s Danville location, there is a Work Center that provides employment opportunities for teach and improve vocational skills to persons with developmental disabilities.  The supervised setting allows people with different abilities to learn skills while they earn an income.

Contracts from different vendors present work for persons with varying degrees of ability and may include tasks such as counting, sorting, assembly, packing, cleaning and housekeeping, folding, binding and labeling, to name a few.

Printing and Finishing Services

Sycamore’s Print Center jobs are often finished at the Danville center.  Supervised crews complete these jobs by collating, folding, stuffing and labeling envelopes, binding and fastening and mailing.  Jobs are also completed from other local printing businesses.
