ProgramsResidential Support - Supported LivingResidential supports are provided to assist individuals in building skills needed to live in a safe environment. In-home support may be provided 24/7, or on a scheduled basis where assistance is provided for a planned number of hours on the same days/same times each week. Persons receiving residential services work with their support teams to define individual goals, then service hours are scheduled for activities to obtain those goals. Support teams include Sycamore Team Leads and Residential Assistants who work with Case Managers and/or Service Coordinators and other appropriate service provider representatives. In-home Supports may include:
Community based activities are combined with in-home supports to improve skills that will lead to a more independent, involved life for the person receiving services. Sycamore homes normally have 3 residents. Residents may share goals so staff can work with more than one person at a time on specific tasks. But the homes are never more than three individuals. Team Leads coordinate staffing for homes and assist in keeping shifts filled during vacations or illness.
