Outcomes
2011Employment Services Sycamore Consultants met the challenges of a slower economy and a decrease in hiring opportunities and nearly doubled the number of 2010 community-based placements in 2011. Sycamore set a goal to increase consumer starting wages by 50 cents per hour. In 2010, we finished the year with consumers earning an average wage of $7.50 per hour. Our goal was to acquire wages of at least $8.00 per hour. Based on 127 placements, average hourly wages were calculated to be $8.28, higher than our objective. During job development and after placement, Consultants work with employers to obtain a reasonable wage for work completed.
